MSPC Names Cathy Davis, CPA as Principal
MSPC Certified Public Accountants and Advisors is pleased to announce that Cathy Davis, CPA has been promoted and named a Principal of the Firm.
Previously a Tax Manager at MSPC, Davis brings two decades of experience working with individuals, businesses, trusts and estates to her new role. She provides comprehensive advisory services for estate and succession planning, tax audit support and tax compliance to her clients. Davis also has extensive experience working with franchisees as well as high-net worth individuals in all aspects of tax planning and preparation.
Over the last several years, Davis has also focused on mentoring many of the Firm’s staff members, encouraging professional development. She founded the MSPC Executive Women’s Networking Group, which brings professional women together with the Firm’s staff for quarterly educational events and business development opportunities. Her leadership and proactive approach to client engagement has earned her a role as Principal in the Firm.
Managing Principal James Flannery says of Davis, “During her time at MSPC, Cathy made outstanding contributions in the management and growth of the tax department while serving clients in a wide range of industries. As a Principal, she will continue to use her tax expertise in federal, local, state and international areas while taking a more active role in designing and implementing the Firm’s strategic plans.

Davis holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance from Rider University. She belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey CPA Society and is an active member of the Moore Stephens North America Tax Community, recently contributing to their Doing Business in the U.S. publication. Davis enjoys volunteering with Eva’s Village and Habitat for Humanity.
